Cannot have them fixed as it would are more expensive than a new pair of infrared wireless headphones. It was so distinct and completely balanced. Now I do not have a golden ear, however these measure up to people well enough. Too large for the street. They've survived many drops, pulls on the wire, puppy chewing on them, and even a couple of indignant tosses. Otherwise, they are damn great for $20 and disposable after a few years. They do not get hot too quickly, and they don't squeeze on the sides of the head too much.
They do muffle exterior noise well, but if you touch or move the very first 2 feet or so of cord you'll be able to hear it in the left earcup. Replacement of same item, outstanding, value for the money for a set of acoustic research wireless headphones. The sound is good, although not super rich.
I ordered those to replace some Sennheisers that I gave to my hubby. It is designed to change the airflow and allow more bass, however I did not see a substantial change. This time around I am moving on to a brandname with a little chutzpah.
I'm able to say aside from the PSP's volume limitations these headphones proved well through peril.
I'm happy, this group of headphones replaced a relatively inexpensive group of Koss headphones, the main difference in the quality of sound is very apparent. Worse, there isnt enough there to glue it back or try some repairs. I really like sitting and hearing songs as loud as I could possibly get it and listening to acoustic research wireless headphones is the best way of achieving that with out making your neighbor or loved ones angry. They're light-weight and they do not squeeze my head and for that reason they do not squeeze the earpieces on my small glasses. Well, what do you expect for $20? Well-crafted and good value - I suggest them highly. Feeling kind of weird seeing Amazon keep changing the cost. I purchased these to listen to music on my small Ipod and play games.
The ear-cup covers the whole ear and doesn't sit on top of earlobes unlike a few of the other designs. I've got a largish head, and the minimum adjustment continues to be rather loose on my small head. Overall if you're contemplating buying these do it now!
For that price, I love these headphones!
The bass is good although not ear-thumping. The Koss headphones hold on far better and are softer for a wireless home stereo system, and wider and more versatile over head.

The general feel for these Auvio wireless headphones is extremely plastic. Wound up breaking several portable rf wireless headphones, so got him this one with a long cord.
